Bliss Hub - Koh Lanta

When we set out on our family travel adventure, one of our hopes was to find meaningful connections along the way. That wish was quickly fulfilled when we discovered Bliss in Thailand. From the very first event, we felt welcomed into a vibrant community of like-minded families who share a love of travel, learning and connection. Our family even extended our stay in Thailand and joined in unforgettable experiences—karaoke nights, kids’ crafting and game days, group workouts, ladies’ night, and even a beachside dinner under the stars complete with a cirque-style performance. We eventually pivoted our travels to Bali, knowing another Bliss hub awaited us there. As a traveling family ourselves, sharing our story through Frenchitivity on YouTube and beyond, we know how valuable it is to find community on the road. Bliss gave us not just connection, but family. We are deeply grateful to Nadeem and Dionne for creating a space where families can thrive together, no matter where in the world they may be.

Im a single mum and my 11-year-old son (high-functioning ASD) arrived at Bliss Hub Koh Lanta in Jan 2025, planning to stay a few weeks but we kept extending because we were having so much fun! It was our first time worldschooling and at a community style hub, and we were blown away. We’ve travelled before, but finding kids his age has always been tricky. In London we homeschool with loads of community options. This felt just like that, but in paradise! So many great workshopas and activities for both my son and me. He loved the cookery class and I loved the women’s circles. And we got to do all this with lovely, like-minded families. The pool parties were next-level!! Games, dancing and the most beautiful sunsets. Just happy kids running around barefoot on the beach, laughing into the evening. We’d love to return. If you’re thinking about it—go for it. You won’t regret it.

Worldschooling on Koh Lanta has been such a gift. Bliss Hub feels like family—our go-to space for connection, creativity, and community. We’ve met incredible people, shared magical moments, and watched our kids grow through real-life learning and island adventures. It’s a place where everyone belongs, and the growth - for myself - and the kids - has been next level.

We found Bliss Hub Communities through a Google search and decided to give it a go. We ended up joining the community in Koh Lanta, Thailand and spent a few weeks there to try it out. We felt welcomed from day one and took part in the activities. We met other like-minded families straight away and felt welcomed. Nadeem was very helpful before our arrival in answering all of our questions and helping with where to find accommodation and transport. The kids loved it, playing on the beach, joining in group activities, and making friends quickly. There was a real mix of people and a relaxed, friendly vibe. One of our highlights was a shark conversation talk hosted by one of the parents - it was a great way to connect with others and learn more about the ocean and why sharks matter. There are activities everyday and you can join in as many as you like, plus informal meets ups outside of the these. Bliss Hub made our time in Koh Lanta more memorable, and we’re really glad we came across it.

Joining the Bliss Hub community has been truly life-changing for our family. It started in Koh Lanta, where we met like-minded families that shifted our entire perspective on traveling with kids. Our children were constantly engaged. Learning, playing, and forming real friendships whist we connected with parents who just get it. They get our “Why.” Our teenager Camilla met new friends for the first time and now looks forward to meeting other traveling families which is something she wasn’t excited about before. After that we went to Sanur in Bali. We met more families and felt that Bliss feeling again. It’s not just about the places anymore. It’s about the people, community, and growing together on the road.

We really enjoyed our time on Koh Lanta – the island, the people, the vibe, and the Bliss Hub. We were completely new to the community of long-term travelers and initially felt quite isolated. But the Bliss Hub on Koh Lanta immediately made us feel like part of a community, which really helped us settle into this lifestyle and realize how many like-minded people are out there on similar journeys. Everyone has their own story, and no one is judged. I'm convinced we'll cross paths with some of them again somewhere along the way and rejoin these amazing hub communities.

We absolutely loved how everything was so well-organized yet still felt easygoing, stress-free, relaxed, and welcoming. It was amazing to see our daughter thrive in the Bliss Worldschooling community, enriching her social life and gaining new experiences she had never had before. The Bliss Hub provided such a wonderful space for learning, connecting, and simply enjoying the freedom that comes with this lifestyle. Talking to so many like-minded people who share a different perspective on education, travel, and life itself was truly inspiring. The sense of belonging and openness made it easy to form deep connections, and we made so many new friends, some of whom we’ll likely see again in Portugal! 💓 Pool parties, snorkeling trips, art and craft/den building meet ups. The list goes on! Can't wait for the next adventure with this incredible community!

Bliss Hubs have been such a wonderful experience for our 7-year-old! The mix of fun and freedom is just perfect. There’s always something exciting happening. One day it’s crafting, another day it’s catching up on learning in the most playful way, and then it’s off to the field for a game of soccer with friends. Our child was always excited to go, and that says everything. The children have space to be themselves, explore at their own pace, and just be kids. We love the balance of gentle catch-up work (without pressure), lots of creative activities, and tons of outdoor time. It’s exactly what we were hoping for: community, connection, and learning through life. Koh Lanta is beautiful on its own, but the Bliss Hub community makes it even more special. Highly recommend it to any homeschooling family passing through or staying a while!
